How to make a St. Patrick's Day sequin mason jar

Stash the gold at the end of the rainbow in a mason jar decorated with light-catching sequins. Take your pick of gold or green, or create a selection of both. Use the jars as holders for a sweet treat to give to guests at a St. Paddy's Day party, or place them around the house on tables, counters and shelves.
If you don't want to encourage potential cavities and are using the jars as decoration, spray paint white stones. Make half of the stones green and the remaining half gold. When they dry, carefully place them in a bag and mix them, then pour them into the jars.

Instructions
1. Draw a three-leaf clover with a stem on the paper — see below for further instructions. The clover should be 2 1/2 inches at its widest point. Cut out the clover.
2. Place the cutout on the face of the jar and trace around the shape. Apply glue and the sequin strand a little at a time on the jar, following the lines of the tracing until you reach the starting point again. Do not cut the strand.
3. Apply glue and the sequin strand a little at a time along the inside edge of where you applied the first outline, following the lines of the first sequin application until you reach the starting point again.
4. Continue applying glue and sequins, following the shape inside each previous application until the shamrock is filled in. Cut the sequin strand. Glue down the end on the jar.
