Eco-friendly craft: How to make a yogurt-cup basket for an Easter chick

Little spring-like baskets containing soft baby chicks look lovely scattered throughout the home during Easter. These baskets are versatile, however, so they don't have to be reserved just for that holiday. For a "Wizard of Oz"-themed party, place small stuffed dogs in the baskets to represent Toto. You could also fill the baskets with fake flower blossoms for a simple touch of spring or summer.
The size of the baskets makes them ideal for party favors. Fill them with jelly beans for Easter, gold-wrapped chocolates for St. Patrick's Day or chocolate gelt for Hanukkah. Use pastel twine for the spring season or black or orange for a Halloween-party treat holder. If you don't want to place them on the coffee table or kitchen counter, hang them on a ribbon from a removable wall hook.
