How to make a wood-slice cat

Indulge a love of felines with a decorative cat face created from a wood slice and some felt. This craft is customizable, so use any color combination, such as a black patch with white ears or dark-brown with black ears. Hang as many as you like throughout the home, using removable wall adhesive.
If your home already is overflowing with cat decor, make a few of these faces in various color schemes, and glue them to a wood board. Hang the wood board in a hallway, foyer or above the sink in the kitchen.

Instructions
1. Place the wood slice on the ochre felt. Trace around it. Cut out the circle.
2. Cut out a leaf shape from the circle, starting at the southeast point and curving inward then out to the northeast point. Glue the leaf cutout to the top right of the wood slice, angling it so it follows the outside curve.
3. Cut out an ochre felt triangle 1 1/2 inches high. Round the edges.
4. Cut out two pink felt triangles 1 inch high. Round the edges. Glue one pink triangle onto the center of the ochre triangle.
5. Cut out a white felt triangle 1 1/2 inches high. Round the edges. Glue the remaining pink triangle onto the center of the white triangle.
6. Run a line of glue along the front bottom of each triangle pair. Adhere them to the back of the round at the northeast and northwest positions. These are the ears.
7. Cut out two small black circles for eyes. Cut out a small rounded pink triangle for the nose.
8. Make three loops of white floss, 6 inches long. Cut the loop ends, and trim them to look like whiskers.
