How to make salt and pepper shakers with Tic Tac containers

This stylish project repurposes Tic Tac containers and is sure to bring a modern simplicity to your tabletop. These salt and pepper shakers take no time to make, but their simple graphic look is everything. The bold black letters on the transparent plastic containers give the shakers a look that says "We're from a modern home accessories store," while in reality, the cost of these is about a dollar each, if that.

Materials
- Two empty Tic Tac containers
- A sheet of adhesive alphabet letters
- Large containers of salt and pepper

Instructions
1. Place the two Tic Tac containers on the work surface.

2. Remove the capital “S” from your sheet of adhesive alphabet letters and stick it on the front of the box.

3. Remove the top from the box and fill the box with salt.

4. Replace the box top.

5. Repeat steps 2-4 with the other box, but use the capital “P” for the pepper container and fill it with ground pepper.

6. Place them on the table or in the pantry, and they’re ready to use.
