Draw attention to your neckline: How to attach a chunky necklace to a top

An attached necklace not only draws the eye to your neckline, but it's a way to avoid the hassle of putting on a necklace without anyone's help. The best necklace to use is one that has a chain clasp. However, if you can't find one, just remove the clasp of any chunky necklace and add a link to each end.
For a bold look, use a necklace that contrasts with the shirt color, or any brightly colored necklace with a white shirt. Elegant combinations include a black shirt and silver necklace, and a white shirt and gold necklace. For an understated look, pair complementary colors or varying degrees of the same shade.
