Design and create a set of button earrings in 3 simple steps

Accessorizing an outfit with jewelry is a great way to add personality into any wardrobe. Earrings are a small addition to a jewelry box that can still make a big statement when it comes to fashion sense. Instead of spending a lot at the store when it’s time for a new set, learn to design and create button earrings that work well with any outfit, and speak to customized taste too.
This DIY project takes minimal time and effort for results that are both eye-catching and impressive. Some craft wire, buttons, and imagination are all it takes to transform basic materials into earrings that are truly one of a kind. While buttons in shades of blue add an elegant touch to the final product, decorative buttons can be mixed and matched in a variety of shades, sizes and even textures for a look that’s a bit bolder.

Instructions
1. Bend a 5-inch piece of gold craft wire into a large loop so the ends meet. Shape one end of the wire into a small circle so that half an inch of the opposite end can be inserted. Together, the ends will work as an earring attachment point.
2. Thread eight small, blue buttons onto the wire loop through one of the center circle of the button.
3. Repeat the process using a second gold wire loop and eight buttons to create a set of stylish, identical earrings.
4. Wear this one-of-a-kind earring set out during the day or for an evening on the town to add an elegant touch to any outfit.
