Change up a summer look by creating a DIY choker with buttons and lace

Summer is the season for taking chances on fashion favorites by adding a new twist. When it comes to incorporating a bit of floral flair into the mix, there’s no better way to spice up a seasonal wardrobe than with a choker. Easy to mix and match with different outfits, a floral choker complete with button details can take a day outfit into evening wear in very little time. There’s no need to spend anything at the jewelry store when this DIY choker can be crafted with a little lace trim and some time.
Once a length of floral lace trim is measured out to fit just right, the one of a kind feature that makes this choker so charming is the placement of earth-toned buttons. Hot glue is all it takes to attach buttons to the center of each lace flower, creating a truly unique final product. A lobster clasp with extra chain links makes it simple to adjust the choker for a tighter or looser fit as needed. Wear this choker to the beach with a cute swimsuit cover-up or add it to a casual evening look for a bit of Boho-chic style.
