Got old brooches? Upgrade them into a pretty bracelet

Craft vendors know the value of unique bracelets, and their high prices speak volumes. Rather than purchase bracelets made from old brooches, try your hand at making your own. Dig through an old jewelry box to find old brooches and a plain cuff bracelet. Love yard sales and thrift stores? The tiny treasure found in boxes and baskets may end up on your next DIY bracelet.
When selecting a brooch for a bracelet, remember that the brooch should be large enough to draw attention to the bracelet. Each brooch will serve as the centerpiece of the bracelet. Consider colors and designs to make several bracelets that match different ensembles.
