Easiest craft ever: Make a coffee container with an old candle jar

This just may be the easiest craft you'll ever do. It doesn't require any special crafting tools or intense labor, and it is not time consuming. The hardest part is cleaning the used candle jar of wax residue. To do this, pour warm water into the jar; make the water as warm as you can comfortably touch. Let the water sit for a few minutes to soften the wax. Scrape away the wax with a plastic food scraper, or wipe with a washcloth or non-scratch scrubber. If there is a lot of wax at the bottom of the jar, repeat this process a few times until it is gone.
The decoration in this tutorial is very simple — just some strips of washi tape around the outside of the jar. Washi tape comes in numerous patterns and colors, so choose the one(s) that suit your taste or your kitchen decor. If you're not a fan of washi tape and you have time and artistic ability, paint the outside of the glass.
