Create a centerpiece cake stand for every occasion

Whether you are decorating for a baby shower, bridal party, or simply Sunday brunch, a cake stand can easily be your centerpiece. Though the name might suggest you have to bake a cake, a cake stand can be just what you need to show off treats of any kind.

You can put this feminine cake stand together in a few minutes. Add different ribbons for whichever theme you choose. You can also use a variety of candlestick bases to create a collection of stands. Grab your glue gun, and you will have a complete set of stands for your event in no time.

Materials
- Silver tray
- Candlestick
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue sticks
- Wired ribbon (optional)
- Crafting scissors

Instructions
1. Place your silver tray upside down on a flat surface.

2. Apply a strip of hot glue around the edge of the base of the candlestick. Press this firmly onto the center of the bottom of the silver tray. Allow the glue to dry.

3. Cut a long strip of ribbon. Tie a bow around the middle of the shaft of the candlestick, and trim any excess ribbon to your liking.

4. Use your cake stand to add a touch of refinement to any event. To clean, wipe gently with a damp cloth.
