When pumpkin spice doesn't do justice to your love of autumn, make a pumpkin wreath

In areas of the country that have cooler temperatures, the idea of autumn brings thoughts of sweaters, falling leaves, Halloween and pumpkin spice. Even if you're not a fan of the spice, pumpkins themselves still engender good feelings.
Mini pumpkins are just size for myriad crafts, including a wreath with autumnal colors. Add a few fake fall leaves, and this project will bring the season right to your door. To make the wreath appropriate for Halloween, wrap black ribbon around it, and paint a face on the pumpkin. This project uses a fake craft pumpkin, but if you are planning to toss the wreath after the season, you can use a real mini pumpkin.

Instructions
1. Wrap the ribbon around the wreath, starting at the bottom and pressing the end of the ribbon with your thumb to keep it in place. Leave a 1/2-inch space between each wrap, exposing the wreath.
2. Cut off excess ribbon, and tie the two ends of the ribbon together in a square knot.
3. Flip over the wreath.
4. Hot glue the fake leaves to the bottom of the wreath, securing a few on the front and a few on on the inside of the bottom curve. All the stems should point inward, and the leaves should fan out.
5. Apply hot glue to where the stems meet as well as to the bottom of the mini pumpkin. Press the pumpkin to the glue on the stems.
