Sand down a terracotta pot & create a DIY that will impress guests at your next dinner party

When hosting a dinner party, a lovely way to show your thoughtfulness is using place settings for your guests. Even better are place settings that double as party favors. Using some paint and mini terracotta pots, you can make place settings for your guests that will double as darling home decor. Your guests will feel appreciated and leave your party with a reminder that they are important to you.
If you feel like going above and beyond with your terracotta pot place settings, you could plant a small succulent in each planter. These plants are easy to care for and complement most homes. For an easy way to fill the pots, add some river rocks and a faux plant, both of which are often available at craft stores. We used stamp letters to personalize each place setting, but you can paint each name on by hand if you prefer your lettering. Either way, your guests will remember these for a long time.
