Cut a plastic spoon and make this simple DIY

Looking for a way to reuse leftover plastic spoons from a party? If you want to add some flower-shaped napkin rings to your dining room table, this DIY project is for you. It uses a few old plastic spoons and a button to create a darling ring perfect for gingham napkins and pastel plates. Dig up those old spoons and make a whole set for your next brunch party or wedding shower!
While it might be tempting to recycle plastic spoons, it’s easier on the environment if you reuse them instead. That is why this project is both a win for your home and the Earth. If you do not have any plastic spoons on hand, you can check a thrift store for unopened packages or a creative reuse center, which sells salvaged art supplies and miscellaneous materials for next to nothing.

Instructions
1. Cut the heads off the handles of six spoons. Arrange the heads in a circle to form a flower shape.
2. Put a dollop of hot glue at the base of a spoon head, then press a gold button on top. Continue gluing the heads to the back of the button until you have a flower. The spoons may have to overlap slightly for all of them to fit. Allow the glue to dry.
3. Put a dollop of hot glue on the bottom of the flower. Press it into the side of the wooden ring. Allow the glue to dry.
4. Your napkin ring is complete! Slide it over a rolled-up cloth napkin and place it on top of a plate. Enjoy!
