The prettiest festive pine cone wreath DIY

There’s an in-between time during the fall where you might want to add some seasonal decorations to your front door or an interior one, but where to start? Halloween has passed, so spiders and pumpkins are out, but it’s not yet time for green and red or stings of Christmas lights, either.
This DIY features a thoroughly autumnal symbol, the pine cone, that you can easily gather in your own yard or neighborhood. With the addition of some festive ribbon, you can customize the door hanger so it harmonizes with the color of your front door or your room’s color scheme. Don’t be afraid to go for the glam either, and put a coating of metallic spray paint or some drops of glitter glue on your pine cones.

Instructions
1. Cut about 14 inches of gold wire from the coil with the small cutting tool.
2. Bend the top of the piece of wire so its shape is more oval than circular, and position it behind the wreath.
3. Wrap each end around the upper left and right side portion of the wreath twice.
4. Cut a piece of ribbon about 12 inches long with the scissors.
5. Tie a small knot with the ribbon ends. It should be located at the bottom of the large ribbon that’s looped on the wreath.
6. Tighten the knot, and cut the excess ribbon ends with the scissors.
7. Place a few drops of hot glue on the top center portion of the pine cone.
8. Affix the knot to the pine cone.
9. Press the knot against the pine cone for a few seconds so it’s securely attached to the pine cone.
10. Cut a 10-inch piece of ribbon from the roll with the scissors.
11. Tie it into a small bow.
12. Apply a few drops of glue in the center of the upper front portion of the wreath.
13. Affix the bow to the spot where you applied the glue.
13. Allow the glue to dry.
14. Your pine cone door hanger is ready to be hung on your front door, and bid guests a warm welcome!
