Take apart one small clothespin and create this simple concept

Guide guests to the bathroom with an artistic rustic-looking arrow made from wooden clothespins and a dowel. The longest part of this easy project is waiting for the paint to dry. It's a fun craft to make with children, provided an adult handles the hot glue gun.
If you aren't into rustic decor, just changing the paint color will affect how the arrow looks in other settings. For example, paint it white with colorful polka dots to hang in a child's room. Try all black or all maroon to hang in a white room. Drape necklaces over the arrow to organize jewelry.

Instructions
1. Add equal parts cinnamon and coral paint to the bowl, and mix thoroughly with the craft stick.
2. Take apart one small clothespin. Run a line of hot glue alone the back of each piece. Press the two backs together, with the pointed ends facing the same direction.
3. Repeat step 2 with three additional clothespins.
4. Paint all the clothespins and the dowel, and let them dry.
5. Clip the large clothespin to one end of the dowel. Apply glue if the dowel wiggles. Place the dowel on the work surface so the large clothespin is on its side, pointing to the left.
6. Position one standard clothespin so its point is down and the center vertical line faces you.
7. Apply a dab of glue to the rounded top to the right above the line. Press the glued end to the lower side of the dowel, 3 inches from the dowel's bottom, at a 45-degree angle.
8. Position one standard clothespin so its point is down and the center vertical line faces you.
9. Apply a dab of glue to the rounded top to the left above the line. Press the glued end to the upper side of the dowel, 3 inches up from the dowel's end, at a 45-degree angle. The clothespin should be on the opposite side of the clothespin in step 7.
10. Position another clothespin so its point is down and the center vertical line faces you.
11. Apply a dab of glue to the rounded top to the right above the line. Press the glued end to the lower side of the dowel, 1 inch up from the end and at a 45-degree angle.
12. Position the last standard clothespin so its point is down and the center vertical line faces you.
13. Apply a dab of glue to the rounded top to the left above the line. Press the glued end to the upper side of the dowel, 1 inches up from the end and at a 45-degree angle. It will be opposite the third clothespin.
