Fetch an old sock & copy this idea

No idea what to do with solo socks? This precious, plushy little fellow will help you forget all about your laundry woes. With just one sock, you can whip together a soft and cushy teddy bear that children and adults alike can’t help but adore.
The secret to making a teddy bear out of one sock is by strategically making its head, arms and body out of different parts of the sock. Its tail, for example, comes from the heel, while its head comes from the toe. Once you’ve sewn the body together, a few buttons and a small piece of felt are all it takes to give the bear its lovable face. When you're finished, give your new buddy a hug, or gift him to the teddy bear-loving child in your life.

Instructions
1. Turn the sock inside out. Using disappearing ink, mark the different body parts of the bear. Draw the head coming up from the toe of the sock. Draw the arms coming out from the top of the sock, so the bear’s shoulders are at the opening. Draw the legs and body in the middle of the sock, so the heel forms the bear’s backside.
2. Sew along the lines you’ve drawn. Don't sew the bear’s shoulders or the top of the body.
3. Cut out the pieces, and turn them inside out. Snip the toe of the sock, so you can turn the head inside out.
4. Fill the pieces with polyester fiberfill.
5. With a needle and thread, hand-sew the neck closed. To do this, use a simple running stitch, then pull the stitch tight before knotting off the thread.
6. Sew the head to the body. To hide the thread, start stitching from the inside of the body, so the knot stays hidden. Repeat with the arms.

7. Cut an oval from a piece of brown felt for the muzzle. Hot glue it to the bear’s face. Hot glue on two buttons for eyes, a button for the nose and a bow button next to the ear.
8. Your new teddy bear is complete! Give him a hug and enjoy.
