Paint over a coffee filter and make this gorgeous concept

When the kids are home, moms across the world try to find ways to keep their littles entertained without having to just plop them down in front of a television set. This flower table runner creates the diversion they need to keep little hands and little minds occupied for an afternoon of creativity. Plus, it creates a beautiful centerpiece the whole family can admire next time they sit down to enjoy a meal together.
All you'll need is a set of watercolor paints, coffee filters and a few other supplies you probably already have. Gather the little helpers and get to work, because this is a project you'll want to show off immediately. After you create a table runner with flowers, you can even decide to switch things up and create one using different shapes.

Instructions
1. Set out a paper towel down on the work station.
2. Paint a coffee filter. Paint it all one color or use different ones on the same filter.
3. Dry it with the hair dryer to help speed up the drying process.
4. Outline a flower shape on the cardboard with the pencil, and cut it out.
5. Set the flower stencil onto the painted coffee filter and cut around the shape.
6. Repeat step 1 to 3 and step 5 to create as many flowers as you need.
7. Paint one coffee filter yellow, and dry it with the hair dryer.
8. Fold it over several times, and cut out circles with the lever punch.
9. Paint another filter green, and dry it. Fold it in half like a taco, and cut strips to serve as leaves.
10. Glue the yellow circles to the middle of each flower and the green leaves sporadically on different flower petals. The coffee filters should be completely dry before being glued.
