Luckily, this eye-catching accessory couldn’t be easier to assemble. The hardest part will be choosing what handkerchief and decorative button you want to use! Consider making a bevy of bows in different colors. That way there’s a few for you and a few for your friends.

Materials
- Handkerchief
- Straight pin
- Needle
- Thread
- Scissors
- Thin ribbon
- Hair tie
- High-temperature glue gun
- Hot glue stick
- Decorative button

Instructions
1. Fold the handkerchief in half to form a triangle. Fold the top of the triangle down to the bottom edge. The handkerchief should now form a trapezoid.
2. Gather together the middle of the trapezoid, and pin it. You should start to see the bow taking shape. Sew the middle together.
3. Cut a 1- to 2-inch piece of ribbon. Position a hair tie behind the middle of the bow, then wrap the ribbon around the middle and the hair tie. Hot glue the ribbon in place.
4. Hot glue a decorative button to the front of the middle of the bow. Your hair bow is now ready to wear!
