Paint the back of a paper plate and build this sweet concept

Have you ever been drawn to a DIY project that looked impossible, only to discover it really was impossible? You're not alone. Many craft projects are overly complicated and frustrating. Fortunately, this table runner constructed from paper plates is the epitome of a creative and simple project. In fact, the instructions are so simple you may decide to make several table runners. If so, consider adding embellishments to the plates to celebrate holidays or special occasions.
The most difficult part of this craft (which isn't very difficult) is flattening each paper plate after the paint dries. Should the edges of a plate curl up a bit, place a heavy book on top of the plate to flatten it. Encourage your family members to join in by painting the paper plates for a fun family activity. Customize the length and color of the runner to complement your table and decor.
