Pull out some lace, and copy this gorgeous DIY for your wall

Scour your fabric remnants for lace, gather artificial flowers, find a few embroidery hoops, and create a unique, gallery-worthy piece of art for a bare wall. It couldn’t come together more quickly and easily than the method shown in this DIY project.
You can make exactly the piece you want, depending on your style and space. Craft a single, sweetly decorated embroidery hoop, or attach four or five to create a large statement piece. Make them all the same size, and create a symmetrical arrangement. Use different-sized hoops for a more unusual configuration. Apply floral flourishes and a few lace butterflies modestly, or go big with extravagant embellishment.

You can easily turn the above craft into something festive for holidays like so:
Instructions
1. Lay out the lace on the work surface, and place an embroidery hoop in a corner section of the lace.
2. Cut a square out of the lace that’s about 1 to 2 inches larger than the hoop on all sides.
3. Separate the inner and outer pieces of the hoop, and put the outer hoop aside.
4. Place the lace square over the inner hoop, making sure the hoop is centered under the lace.
5. Place the outer hoop on top of the lace. Press it in place around the inner hoop to secure the lace.
6. Flip over the piece.
7. Apply hot glue in a line on the exposed hoop, and glue the excess lace to it. Continue adding glue to the entire hoop until the lace is glued to the entire hoop edge.
8. Trim away the excess lace with scissors.
9. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly.
10. Repeat steps 1 to 9 as many times as necessary, depending on the number of hoops.
11. Flip over the hoops again.
12. Thread the needle with embroidery floss.
13. Place one hoop right up against another, and orient the hoops any way you like.
14. Pick a spot of lace that's near the edge of a hoop, and bring the needle and floss through the lace in the first hoop through its front.
15. Bring the needle and floss behind the adjacent hoop, and bring it through the lace from the back, creating a loop that connects the two hoops.
16. Stitch through the lace in each hoop a couple of times, and attach them.
17. Knot the thread, and cut the needle and floss from the stitched lace with the small cutting tool.
18. Repeat steps 12 to 16 as many times as you have hoops to connect, attaching them in whatever format you prefer.
19. Cut off any long stems from the artificial flowers and foliage with the heavy-duty cutting tool.
