Fetch a paper plate & copy this concept

Wall hangings are a gorgeous and trendy way to liven up a room, but they can be pricey. This DIY wall art made from upcycled paper plates is just as striking and costs next to nothing. In fact, chances are you already have most of what you need to complete the project. The finished hanging complements minimalist interior design or a lush jungalow living room. It even works as soothing decor for a child’s bedroom.
There are plenty of ways to personalize this project and express your creative side. Play around with the placement of the shapes, or change up the colors to suit your style. A good rule of thumb is to stick with white for a third of the pieces, use a bold, dominant color for another third of the pieces, and a more muted accent color for the remaining third. This helps the wall hanging feel balanced and cohesive.

3. Paint four small semicircles and one large semicircle with “Sunkissed Peach.” Paint two small circles and two small semicircles blue-gray. Allow the paint to dry.
4. Arrange the pieces into three columns. The first column has a peach semicircle with the edge facing up, a white semicircle with the edge facing down, a blue-gray circle and a peach semicircle with the edge facing down. The second column has a white circle, a big peach semicircle with the edge facing up, a big white semicircle with the edge facing down, a blue-gray circle and a peach semicircle with the edge facing down. 7. Knot the end of the twine to the right side of the dowel. Hot glue the third column to the twine and trim.
8. To create a hanger, knot the end of the twine on the other side of the first column. Cut the twine, then knot the free end to the opposite side of the dowel.
