Grab white tissue paper and a pair of scissors to copy this DIY

Napkin rings add a lovely touch when sprucing up a table. They’re a simple accessory that makes it easy to incorporate color, design and functionality. These DIY napkin rings keep napkins in place while pulling color palettes together and seamlessly incorporating texture.
Choosing a white tissue paper allows you to pair the rings with a variety of napkin patterns and hues. Consider tucking a sprig of artificial or real lavender under the napkin ring once it’s situated around the napkin to create a fresh floral look that inspires thoughts of summer.

Instructions
1. Fold a piece of white tissue paper in half.
2. Cut two long, thin strips of tissue paper starting at the fold line.
3. Unfold each of the strips, and twist the tissue paper gently from one end to the other, so it doesn’t tear.
4. Apply a spot of hot glue to a wood craft ring.
5. Press the end of one of the twisted tissue paper strips to the glue.
6. Wrap the tissue paper tightly around the ring until you reach the end. Glue the opposite end of the tissue paper to the ring.
7. Wrap the second tissue paper strip around the ring where the first ended until the entire ring is covered in tissue paper.
8. Roll up a cloth napkin.
9. Slide the tissue paper napkin ring onto the napkin, and position it in the center of the roll.
