Get tissue paper at the store and follow this adorable DIY

Don’t let the coasters on your coffee table look like an afterthought. These DIY coasters made with tissue paper and Mod Podge are effortless to create and add a pretty, decorative flair to your home. In just a few minutes, you’ll elevate your living room into an ideal oasis for sipping iced tea or cocktails.
This project uses dishwasher-safe Mod Podge to protect the wood-based coasters from water rings made by a cold glass. However, you shouldn't put the coasters in the dishwasher, as it would likely damage the wood. If your coasters become dirty, spot-clean them with a damp rag. If all else fails, this project is easy and fun enough that you could make yourself a new set of coasters when the old one becomes worn-out.

Instructions
1. Place the tissue paper upside down. Use the coaster as a template to draw the shape onto the paper. Cut out the shape.
2. Paint the surface of the coaster with Mod Podge. Place the tissue paper right-side up on the coaster. Paint over the tissue paper with Mod Podge.
3. Hot glue the twine around the edge of the coaster. Depending on the coaster's height, you may need to wrap the twine twice around the edge. Once finished, tie the ends of the twine together in a bow. Trim the tails.
