Purchase bobby pins at the store and reproduce this painless project

Spying a colorful rainbow after a rain shower is a striking, unexpected, and always welcome surprise. Rainbows are so loved that they grace everything from T-shirts to wall art.
This simple DIY project allows you to create a set of bobby pins that when worn next to each other in your hair, create a vivid rainbow effect. Nail polish serves as the “paint” to coat the bobby pins, and the shades you choose determine the look's energy. We chose pastels for a demure vibe, but opting for primary colors or bright neons spices things up a bit. Try wearing more than one set to really ramp up this look's “wow factor.”
