Do you seem to find yourself wishing for a better way to store odds and ends? Or are you wishing for a catch-all dish just to throw your keys when you get home? Even the most organized house can use an extra bowl to hold those little items that seem to clutter up counters and tables so quickly. Add some color to your space while also getting the extra organization you need with this easy-to-do Perler bead bowl project.
The process for this project follows the same kind of technique that you might already be familiar with when using Perler beads - heat melts them together. Instead of melting them flat like you would using a pegboard and iron, use a bowl you already have to create the shape you want, then mix up the color combination to complement your home. This is a great project for little ones who are in need of an in-home activity. They will love helping to mix the colors and shape the beads. Be sure to supervise - this project does require using an oven.

2. Dump a decent amount of the first color of your Perler beads in the bowl and use your hand to spread them out. Add in your second color and use your hand again to mix them up. Follow the same process with any additional colors you choose.
3. Once you have all your colors chosen, use your hand to spread them out and help them stick to the sides of the bowl.
4. Set your oven to 350 degrees. Once it’s ready, place the bowl of beads in on the middle rack. Allow it to back for 10 minutes.
5. After 10 minutes, remove the bowl using oven mitts and set it aside to cool. Once the bowl is cool, remove the bead bowl with a spatula. You should be left with a color Perler bead bowl in the same shape as the one you cooked it in.
