Materials
- Old chair
- Utility knife
- Handsaw
- Sanding block
- Blue chalk paint
- Paintbrush
- 2 towel hooks
- Screws
- Drill
Instructions
1. Remove the wicker section from the seat of the chair with a utility knife.
2. Cut through the back of the seat with a handsaw so only the backrest, a small portion of the seat and the back legs remain.
3. Sand the cut edges until they are smooth.
4. Paint the chair with the blue chalk paint. Use light brush strokes with a minimal amount of paint on the paintbrush to allow the wood to show through slightly. Allow the paint to dry.
5. Attach hooks to the legs of the chair using a drill and screws.
6. Hang the chair on the wall.
