Luminous Garden Globes

Materials
3 pool noodles (standard size)
1 set of battery-operated string lights (10-20 feet long)
Clear packing tape
Scissors
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Spray paint (optional, in your choice of color)
Garden stakes or hooks (optional, for hanging)
Directions
Cut each pool noodle into three equal parts, resulting in nine segments.
Form a circle with each segment by bending it and securing the ends together with clear packing tape. Repeat for all segments.
Using the hot glue gun, attach the circles together to form a spherical shape. Ensure the structure is stable by gluing at multiple points where the circles intersect.
If desired, spray paint the entire sphere in your chosen color and let it dry completely.
Wrap the string lights around the sphere, weaving them through the gaps between the circles. Secure the lights in place with additional tape or hot glue if necessary.
Place the battery pack of the string lights inside the sphere, ensuring it is easily accessible for turning the lights on and off.
Position the finished garden globes in your desired location, using garden stakes or hooks if you wish to elevate or hang them.

Variations & Tips
For a personalized touch, consider using different colors of spray paint to match your garden's theme or seasonal decor. You can also experiment with various sizes by cutting the pool noodles into longer or shorter segments. For a more festive look, use colored string lights or add embellishments like faux flowers or leaves. If you're looking for a more permanent installation, consider using waterproof LED lights and securing the globes with weather-resistant materials.
