Rustic Rope Ottoman

Materials
1 old large black rubber tire
Thick tan jute rope (approximately 200 meters)
High-strength adhesive or hot glue gun with glue sticks
Scissors
Protective gloves (optional)
Circular plywood or MDF board (for the top and bottom, optional)
Paint or wood stain (optional, for plywood or MDF)
Soft cushion pad (optional, if added comfort is desired)
Directions
1. Clean the tire thoroughly with soap and water and let it dry completely.
2. If using plywood or MDF for additional structure, cut it into circles slightly smaller than the tire's diameter and attach them securely to the top and bottom of the tire using high-strength adhesive.
3. Starting at the inner rim of the tire, apply a strip of adhesive and press the end of the jute rope firmly into it.
4. Continue wrapping the rope around the tire, applying adhesive as you go, ensuring each coil is tightly wound and sits snugly against the previous layer.
5. Once the entire tire is wrapped, cut the rope, securing the end with a generous amount of adhesive.
6. Allow the adhesive to dry completely before using the ottoman.
7. (Optional) Add a soft cushion pad to the top for extra comfort.

Variations & Tips
For a personalized touch, consider dyeing the jute rope in a color that matches your decor. You can also add decorative elements like metal studs or fabric trims along the rope for added flair. If you prefer a softer top, attach a round cushion covered in a fabric of your choice. Additionally, using different types and colors of rope can alter the overall look, allowing you to customize the ottoman to better fit your aesthetic vision.
