DIY Rotating Utensil Caddy

Materials
5 empty tin coffee cans, cleaned and labels removed
1 lazy susan hardware (approximately 12 inches in diameter)
1 round wooden board (matching the size of the lazy susan hardware)
Sandpaper (medium grit)
Metal primer
Metallic spray paint (optional)
Drill with metal drill bits
Screws (suitable for metal and wood)
Measuring tape
Pencil
Protective gloves
Directions
Begin by cleaning the tin coffee cans thoroughly and removing any labels. Sand any rough edges with medium grit sandpaper.
Apply a coat of metal primer to the outside of each can and allow it to fully dry. This will help the paint adhere better.
If desired, spray paint the cans with a metallic color of your choice for a polished look. Let them dry completely.
Place the wooden board on a flat surface. Position the lazy susan hardware on the underside of the board and mark the screw holes using a pencil.
Drill pilot holes into the marked spots on the wooden board, then attach the lazy susan hardware using screws.
Flip the board so the lazy susan hardware is on the bottom. Arrange the tin cans in a circle on the top side of the board.
Once satisfied with the arrangement, mark the positions of the cans. Drill a small hole near the bottom of each can where it will attach to the board.
Secure each can to the board by drilling screws through the holes in the cans into the board.
Test the lazy susan to ensure it spins smoothly with the weight of the cans attached.

Variations & Tips
For a personalized touch, you can paint the tin cans in different colors to match your kitchen decor. Alternatively, use decorative paper or fabric to wrap the cans for added texture and color. If you prefer a more uniform look, opt for matching spray paint for both the cans and the wooden base. Consider using different sized cans for varied storage options, or add labels to each can for organized storage.
