Neon Green Zip Tie Pendant Light

Materials
1 rusty metal wire basket, approximately 12 inches in diameter
500 neon green nylon zip ties, 8 inches long
Pendant light kit (cord, bulb socket, and ceiling mount)
Wire cutters
Sandpaper or wire brush
Directions
Clean the rusty wire basket using sandpaper or a wire brush to remove any loose rust and dirt. This will ensure the zip ties adhere better and the final look is clean.
Start at the top rim of the basket and begin weaving the neon green zip ties through the wire grid. Insert the zip tie from the inside of the basket, loop it around one of the wires, and secure it by pulling the end through the locking mechanism.
Continue weaving the zip ties through the basket, working your way down. Keep the zip ties close together for a dense appearance or space them out for a more open look.
Once you have covered the desired area with zip ties, use wire cutters to trim any excess ends for a neat finish.
Attach the pendant light kit to the top of the basket. Thread the cord through the center and secure the bulb socket inside the basket, ensuring it hangs evenly.
Mount the pendant light to the ceiling using the included ceiling mount, following the manufacturer's instructions.
Install a light bulb and enjoy your new DIY pendant light.

Variations & Tips
For a different look, try using zip ties in another color, such as neon pink or electric blue, to match your existing decor. You can also experiment with different basket shapes or sizes for a custom design. If neon colors are too bold for your taste, consider using natural-colored zip ties for a more subdued effect. Additionally, try varying the weaving pattern or spacing of the zip ties to create different textures and light effects.
