Ladybug Bottle Cap Plant Markers

Materials
Bottle caps (quantity as desired)
Red acrylic paint
Black acrylic paint
Small paintbrush
Magnets (small round)
Strong adhesive glue
Thin black marker
Clear acrylic spray (optional for sealing)
Directions
Clean the bottle caps thoroughly and let them dry completely.
Paint the outside surface of each bottle cap with red acrylic paint. Apply additional coats if necessary until the color is opaque.
Once the red paint is dry, use the black paint to add spots to the bottle caps, mimicking a ladybug's spots. Use the marker for finer details if needed.
Paint a semicircle on one edge of the bottle cap in black to represent the ladybug's head.
Allow all paint to dry completely. Optionally, spray the painted caps with a clear acrylic spray for added protection.
Attach a small magnet to the inside of each bottle cap using strong adhesive glue. Ensure the glue is dry before proceeding.
Place your finished ladybug markers on the rims of your planters or anywhere you wish to add a touch of charm.

Variations & Tips
For a twist on the classic ladybug design, experiment with different colors such as blue or yellow for the body of the ladybugs. You can also create other insects by modifying the paint design; for instance, paint bees with yellow and black stripes. Add googly eyes for an extra playful touch. If magnets aren't available, consider using a small stick glued to the back of the painted cap to stake them directly into the soil.
