Vintage Cheese Grater Pathway Lights

Materials
4 vintage stainless steel cheese graters
4 small wooden garden stakes (approximately 3 feet tall)
Outdoor LED tealight candles or solar lights
Outdoor-grade glue or screws
Drill with small bit (if using screws)
Sandpaper (optional, for smoothing stakes)
Directions
Prepare the wooden garden stakes by sanding any rough edges to ensure a smooth finish.
Position a cheese grater on top of each wooden stake, making sure the open end of the grater faces upwards.
Secure the cheese grater to the stake using outdoor-grade glue or screws. If using screws, drill small pilot holes through the grater into the stake to prevent splitting.
Allow the glue to dry completely if you used adhesive.
Place an LED tealight candle or solar light inside each cheese grater, ensuring it's stable and will not tip over.
Position the completed pathway lights along your garden path or wherever you wish to add illumination.

Variations & Tips
For a different look, consider painting the wooden stakes in a color that complements your garden's theme, such as moss green or antique white. If you prefer a more modern aesthetic, choose cheese graters with a sleeker design and pair them with metal stakes instead of wooden ones. You can also experiment with different light sources, such as colored LED lights, to add a playful touch. For added stability, consider using stakes with a larger base or anchoring them with garden stones.
