DIY Twig Nest Bowl

Materials
20 dried brown twigs, approximately 12 inches long
One glass mixing bowl, 8 inches in diameter
Hot glue gun with glue sticks
Clear varnish spray (optional)
Directions
Clean the glass mixing bowl thoroughly to remove any dirt or grease.
Arrange the dried twigs around the bowl to get a sense of how you want the final arrangement to look. The twigs should overlap slightly to create a nest-like appearance.
Begin by applying a dot of hot glue to the end of the first twig and press it against the glass bowl. Hold it in place for a few seconds until the glue sets.
Continue gluing each twig around the bowl, ensuring they overlap slightly and build up around the sides to mimic the structure of a bird's nest.
Once all twigs are securely attached, allow the glue to dry completely.
To add durability and a slight sheen, lightly spray the twig nest with clear varnish, if desired. Let it dry for several hours.
Once dry, carefully remove the glass bowl from the center of the twig nest. Your nest bowl is now ready to display.

Variations & Tips
For a more colorful version, consider painting the twigs in pastel shades before gluing them onto the bowl. You can also experiment with different types of twigs or branches for varied textures and appearances. If you prefer a more polished look, try weaving in some dried flowers or artificial greenery between the twigs to add a touch of color and vibrancy. Additionally, using a larger or smaller glass bowl will allow you to create nest bowls of different sizes to suit various spaces in your home.
