Vintage Brass Faucet Coat Rack

Materials
Thick reclaimed wood board, approximately 36 inches by 12 inches
Vintage brass faucets, 4-5 pieces
Wood screws, 1-inch
Drill with drill bits
Sandpaper, medium grit
Measuring tape
Level
Stud finder
Screwdriver
Directions
Start by sanding the reclaimed wood board to remove any rough edges and splinters. This will also enhance the natural grain of the wood.
Arrange the vintage brass faucets on the board to determine their positioning. Space them evenly apart, leaving at least 6 inches between each faucet.
Use a measuring tape and pencil to mark the spots where each faucet will be attached.
Drill pilot holes into the marked spots on the wood board to make it easier to screw in the faucets.
Align each faucet over the pilot holes, and use wood screws to attach them securely to the board.
Once all faucets are attached, use a level to ensure the board will hang straight.
Locate the wall studs in your mudroom using a stud finder, and mark where you'll hang the coat rack.
Drill screws through the wood board into the wall studs to ensure a secure mount.
Use a screwdriver to tighten any loose screws and ensure the entire structure is stable.

Variations & Tips
For a different look, consider painting the reclaimed wood in a color that complements your mudroom’s decor. You could also use a mix of different metals for the faucets, such as copper or brushed nickel, for a more eclectic appearance. If you prefer a minimalist style, space the faucets further apart and use a lighter wood finish for a more airy and open feel. Additionally, adding a protective coat of clear varnish can enhance the durability of the wood and faucets.
