Rustic Hemp-Wrapped Patio Chandelier

Materials
40 cheap plastic coat hangers
Thick natural hemp rope (approximately 200 feet)
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors
Metal ring (12-inch diameter)
Ceiling hook or chain for hanging
Directions
Lay out all 40 plastic coat hangers on a flat surface.
Start wrapping the hemp rope around the first hanger, securing the end with hot glue. Continue wrapping tightly until the entire hanger is covered, then secure the end with more glue.
Repeat the wrapping process for all 40 hangers.
Take the metal ring and begin attaching the wrapped hangers around the circle, using hot glue to secure each one. Ensure that the hooks of the hangers are evenly spaced and pointing inward towards the center of the ring.
Once all hangers are attached, wrap additional hemp rope around the top of the hangers where they meet the ring to create a unified structure and cover any visible plastic.
Attach a ceiling hook or chain to the top of the ring, ensuring it's sturdy enough to hold the weight of the chandelier.
Hang the chandelier on your patio and adjust the positioning as needed.

Variations & Tips
For a more colorful version, consider dyeing the hemp rope with natural dyes before wrapping the hangers, adding a splash of color to your chandelier. Alternatively, use thinner ropes in multiple colors to create intricate patterns and textures. If desired, incorporate small LED lights within the weave to add a subtle glow at night, enhancing its functionality as a light source and decorative piece.
