Marble-Weaved Grater Wind Chimes

Materials
4 metal cheese graters (standard size)
40 clear glass marbles
Sturdy twine or thin wire
Metal hook or hanger
Pliers
Scissors
Directions
Start by cutting a piece of twine or thin wire about 18 inches long. This will be used to weave through the grater holes.
Thread the twine or wire through one hole at the bottom of a cheese grater, add a marble, then thread it back through an adjacent hole to secure the marble in place.
Continue to weave the twine or wire through the holes, adding marbles at regular intervals until you have used 10 marbles for each grater.
Once the marbles are securely in place, tie off the twine or wire inside the grater to prevent it from slipping.
Repeat the process for the remaining graters.
Use pliers to attach a metal hook or hanger to the top of each grater, allowing them to be suspended.
Hang the completed wind chimes in your desired outdoor location, ensuring they are spaced enough apart to move freely and create sound.

Variations & Tips
For a more colorful variation, use marbles in different hues to create a vibrant effect. Alternatively, try using different sizes of cheese graters to create a tiered look, with smaller graters hanging below larger ones. You can also experiment with different types of wire or twine, such as using colored wire to add an extra visual element. Consider adding small bells or charms between the marbles for additional sound variation.
