Potting soil suitable for strawberries
Strawberry plants

3. Place the metal rod or wooden dowel vertically in the desired location in your garden, ensuring it's firmly anchored in the soil.
4. Thread the metal rod or wooden dowel through the top holes of each can, stacking them vertically. Secure each can in place with wire or zip ties around the rod.
5. Fill each can with potting soil, leaving about an inch of space from the top.
6. Plant a strawberry plant in each can, gently pressing the soil around the base of the plant.
7. Water each plant thoroughly using a watering can or garden hose, ensuring the soil is moist but not waterlogged.

Variations & Tips
Consider using larger or differently shaped cans for a unique look, or painting the coffee cans with weather-resistant paint for a pop of color. For colder climates, choose hardy strawberry varieties or bring the planter indoors during the winter. Experiment with other plants like herbs or small flowering plants for a diverse vertical garden.
