Coffee Ground Resin Ring

Materials
Dried used coffee grounds (1 cup)
Clear epoxy resin (100 ml)
Clear acrylic sealer spray (1 can)
PVC pipe ring (10 cm diameter, 2 cm height)
Beige drop cloth (for workspace protection)
Directions
Place the PVC pipe ring on the beige drop cloth to protect your workspace.
Fill the pipe ring with dried used coffee grounds, packing them tightly until they reach the top edge.
Mix the clear epoxy resin according to the package instructions and gently pour it over the packed coffee grounds. Ensure the resin seeps through and covers all the grounds evenly.
Allow the resin to cure for the recommended time, ensuring it hardens completely.
Once cured, carefully remove the resin and coffee ground ring from the PVC pipe.
Spray the entire surface of the ring with clear acrylic sealer to add a glossy finish and protect it from moisture.
Allow the sealer to dry completely before styling your new piece in your home.

Variations & Tips
To personalize this DIY, consider adding small decorative elements such as dried flowers or spices like cinnamon sticks or star anise within the coffee grounds before adding the resin. This can introduce additional textures and aromas. Alternatively, use a colored resin to introduce a tint that complements your home’s color scheme. You can also experiment with different shapes and sizes of PVC molds to create a variety of decorative pieces.
