Directions
1. Begin by painting the cinder blocks with the outdoor weatherproof paint. Use a paintbrush or roller to apply an even coat. Allow them to dry completely before proceeding.
2. While the blocks dry, sand the wooden planks to remove any rough edges or splinters. Apply a protective sealant to enhance durability against weather elements and let it dry.
3. Once the paint and sealant are dry, arrange two cinder blocks on the ground, parallel to each other, about 3 feet apart.
4. Place one wooden plank across the top of the two cinder blocks, ensuring it is level and stable.
5. Stack two more cinder blocks on top of the existing ones, aligning them with the corners of the wooden plank beneath.
6. Repeat step 4 by placing another wooden plank across the new pair of blocks.
7. Continue stacking the cinder blocks and placing the planks until you have used all materials, creating a total of four shelves.
8. Use a level to ensure each shelf is even, adjusting as necessary.

Variations & Tips
For a more modern look, consider painting the wooden planks in a bold color or using reclaimed metal sheets instead of wood for an industrial vibe. To enhance durability, choose pressure-treated wood or composite materials for the shelves. Customize further by attaching hooks to the sides of the blocks for hanging tools or garden accessories, or add solar-powered string lights to highlight the structure at night. Adjust the block and plank configuration to fit different spaces or storage needs, ensuring the design remains versatile and adaptable.
