Patriotic Pinwheel Cement Yard Forms

Materials
3 broken red, white, and blue plastic patriotic pinwheels
1 bag of quick-setting cement (approximately 10 lbs)
1 bucket for mixing cement
1 mixing stick or old spatula
3 small plastic containers or molds
Water (as per cement bag instructions)
Protective gloves
Directions
Prepare your workspace by laying down a protective sheet or working on a surface that can get messy.
Put on protective gloves to handle the cement safely.
In the bucket, mix the quick-setting cement with water according to the instructions on the cement bag, using the mixing stick or spatula until you achieve a smooth consistency.
Place each broken pinwheel into a small plastic container or mold, ensuring they are arranged in a pleasing design or pattern.
Pour the mixed cement over the pinwheels in the containers, completely covering them and filling the mold to the desired thickness.
Gently tap each container to release air bubbles and ensure the cement settles evenly around the pinwheels.
Allow the cement to set and cure according to the time specified on the cement bag, typically 24 to 48 hours.
Once fully cured, remove the cemented forms from the molds. They should now hold the shape of the containers with the pinwheels embedded in the surface.

Variations & Tips
For a personalized touch, consider using molds of different shapes or sizes to create varying forms. You could incorporate other materials like small stones or glass pieces for additional texture and color. Alternatively, paint the cement forms in weatherproof outdoor paint to add another layer of color and protection against the elements, while maintaining the core structure of the broken pinwheels.
